Women Mayors?

So what?

Women are able to fly the space shuttle, vote, be prime minister and run companies so why is it an issue that there may be more women than men as mayors?

I just hope they are less corrupt than men.....oh wait....didnt our Deputy President just tear the arse out of it by going on holiday halfway accross the globe with half of Tembisa on a government plane?

As long as the media covers it our democracy is working!

hehe... don't I feel like a total idiot - the week before the skandaal, I was telling a whole dinner table about how I hope she'd be given a chance to prove herself, that I thought she'd make a good president. There's no more room in my mouth for feet!

I actually like her, i thought she had potential and perhaps she still does but when there are weekly demonstrations about housing and service delivery issues it does seem a bit thick to chater airforce 2 for a holiday to the middle east!

I have a sneaky suspision she is surrounded by morons more than being one herself.

I lost all respect for her during the whole 'eat garlic and potatoes' Aids diet thing, so this sadly, was no surprise to me.

But on a coincedental twist: The news said today that Zanu-PF wants every province in Zim to get together to raise R600 000 for Robert's birthday bash, because they claim that he is " an inspiration" to the country.

Our vice-pres spent R700 000 on her Dubai holiday.

So, in the case of women versus men in politics, the corruption is at an even par it would seem.

You are right. My bad. My bad my bad my bad. Garve error in judgement. But even then, I'm not surprised at her level of corruption, ie: spending a mil to shop in Dubai. It's Africa. These things happen.

Still. My bad. I lost a couple of brain cells in my car accident last week. Blame the car accident, it always works see. :)
